So, I hear all the time about spiteful women who use their children to retaliate against their exes. I also hear a lot about deadbeat dads but what I don't hear enough of are the details. What makes one a "deadbeat?" Does he just not pay child support? Does he not show up for his kids? Does he neglect or abuse his children?
Well, I don't know exactly what others think of the definition of the word, but I'm prepared to put our story out there and name names of all involved. Except my children's names. We'll call them Emo and Happy for the purposes of this page. I'm also going to share ALL the details...good and bad on all sides, and then let you, anyone who reads this, decide for yourselves if the kids and I are dealing with a true deadbeat.
My second purpose for this page is so that someday, when Emo and Happy are older, they can see for themselves how the lives of their parents actually played out.
